He looks down at the sand in his hands and he knows that Wily was out here in the desert, but he can't sense any coordinates. Quietly, he spits, "System check." His visor, somehow, isn't cracked. He wipes the sand off of it and puts his helmet back on, his eyes readjusting to the beating sun overhead. He keeps his eyes open, but his mind is focusing on the data in his body.
All he knows is that his Plasma Buster is missing, and that rarely happens. Only when he doesn't need it-- that's when it vanishes.
And that's when the report comes back: a voice in his head murmuring, "Weapons system offline. Navigation systems offline. Optics online. Center of balance set. Core heat above average."
He can't feel the scorching heat of the desert, but if his core's in danger of overheating, he should probably find some sort of shelter. His internal balance sensors are fine, so he doesn't have to worry about toppling over. But with his teleportation device broken and his Proto-Shield missing, he's not likely to get anywhere on foot.
He stands and begins walking, watching carefully. Wily's robots could be anywhere, couldn't they?
(Little does he know he's definitely not in the right place.)

R'sam was not fond of sweep duty. He didn't mind work, but he preferred to be doing something, not idling a-dragonback while they flew over the desert, looking down at the sand and usually not finding anything.
You need to learn how to relax, Tourrauth said, gently cajoling. R'sam patted his dragon's neck and was about to say something when he caught sight of a moving speck on the sand below.
Tourrauth, is that... A person! The Green banked and flew lower, gaze fixed on the walking figure. R'sam frowned. He couldn't imagine why anyone would be out, alone, in the middle of the desert. It had to be another one of these Lost folks.
Hello, human! Do not be afraid! Tourrauth flew in for a landing, touching down a good distance away from the newcomer. R'sam waved, but didn't dismount yet. He was a little apprehensive about the Lost, still, and was just waiting for a crazy or violent one to appear.

Blues had never seen a dragon before-- or, at least, not a dragon of flesh and blood. He almost assumes the creature is robotic, but it's hardly reassuring. Wily's more likely to create robot dragons than Light, and while Blues holds to his belief that the "Good Doctor" is a hypocrite, Wily's robots are far more aggressive and territorial than Light's.
And his weapon systems are offline, too.
Had he been born a creature of flesh and bone, he may have heard the dragon speak. But Blues is about to be reminded that despite his advanced programming giving him free will and a real personality, he's still circuits and coding beneath his synthetic skin. The dragon's speech doesn't reach him, for telepathy is not a robotic ability and there's no brain to receive the message.
He steps back, not sure how to react so that the creature doesn't attack him. There seems to be something on his back-- a humanoid figure. He assumes human. Robots are usually more obnoxious in their designs, often with armor instead of flimsy leather coats.
"Who sent you?" Had Blues also been human, he may have panicked. Instead, he faces this with his usual tranquility, with a hint of caution. It's there to remind him not to do anything reckless, but not override his system entirely. "I'm not here to start any fights or anything."
