[Starscream]
Age: Somewhere in his early 40’s
Gender: Male
Rank: Lost
Fandom: Transformers Prime
Canon Pull Point: Shortly after the Second season finale.
[Appearance:
Once a towering, terrifying mechanical life form from Cybertron and Second-in-Command of the Decepticon Army, Starscream was, in his own way, a force to be reckon with. Well not anymore. After arriving on Pern he has taken the physical appearance of his human hologram that he use to use when he was in his plane alt mode to keep undercover. In this form he’s stands at 5’10” and is rather lanky with pale, almost sallow skin. He is thin and almost boney with elongated features. Even his fingers seemed stretched in appearance with manicured nails.
He has light grey hair cut short with two streaks of black on top and a red streak of hair that starts from his widow's peak. The grey fades to black the further down it goes. The top part of his hair is kept slightly longer and is slicked back and his black sideburns are always well trimmed. Starscream face is long with angular cheekbones and pointed at the chin where he has a thin black goatee. He still kept his expressive, sinister eyebrows from his old form and his eyes are normal with the exception of his iris which are an unnerving nearly glowing red. He has long nose that points up at the tip and thinned lips.
When he arrives on Pern he is wearing an US Air Force flight suit except it’s grey and where the Air Force patches on the arms should be are red Decepticon symbols with wings expanding from them. He also arrives in full pilot gear with helmet, buckles, and mask. he keeps the locked away later on for they're no real use to him here. He has black gloves one and instead of military standard boots he has almost knee high, high heeled black boots with metal tips on the toes. After arriving on Pern, he'll change his clothes to fit his needs, but he almost always wears his heeled boots. He hates going bare foot or wear flat shoes for they feel awkward to him. Starscream still carries himself in a hunched over manner, but if he feels secure enough he'll stand up more straight and his gestures get more grandiose.
Personality:
Always scheming, Starscream is not someone you want as an enemy. Having him as an ally is not much better for he has no true loyalty to anyone except his own ideals. He respects/tolerates power and tyranny only when he can't overcome it and it allows him to achieve his own goals. What those goals are is hard to tell for Starscream tells many lies, but he wears his emotions on his sleeves when flustered. This causes him to reveal some of his plans and often causes his plotting to fail. He's also overly prideful and tends to boast to anyone who will listen. He sounds to be more bark than bite, yet don't underestimate him for as your enemy he can be far worse. Although insecure and cowardly, he's a brilliant strategist and it's when people think he's at his weakest that he strikes back with vengeance. But now his sudden relocation to the Igen Desert that might all have to change.
On Pern, Starscream isn't sure what to do anymore or where to place his allegiance. The fact that he's human has disgusted him to no ends and that once again he can't fly anymore after just regaining the ability so recently on Earth is more than a little frustrating. Also there is no war on this planet and he has no idea if he can even return to his old life. Well one thing Starscream has always been and that's a survivor. He's adaptable and will learn how to exist on this new and foreign world, but it won't be easy. He has always been scientifically minded and he can't deny it that this place does spark his curiosity, but the low-tech and the organics make his own nasty flesh crawl.
Although adaptable he is a creature of habit and old ways are hard to change. Due to his insecurity and his deep desire for stability in his life, Starscream will drift back to the Decepticon way when other alternatives are fruitless. He doesn't truly like his Lord Megatron ways for it requires an iron fist and fear to keep his troops in lines, namely him. Starscream uses the same methods as well but they're all he knows. But with this totally new planet and none of the other Decepticons around he's not sure what to do. So he can, at this current point, fall in line with the politics of the current Pern governmental structure or rebel and fall back into old habits that he's familiar. Whatever brings him closer to his goal...though what his current goals are now even he's not sure of.
History:
Before the war between the Autobots and Decepticons, Starscream was one of the leaders of the Cybertronian Air Command. He was and still is one of the best flyers of Cybertron. He dreamed of bringing his home back to the glory of the Golden Age and the current leadership of Sentinel Prime disgusted him which lead him to seek out Megatron. Still wary of the former gladiator and his revolution he held back from directly getting involve and instead lend his support through his Seekers. It was when his plan to become a Prime himself had fail due to Megatron mortally wounding his bargaining chip and thus dashed that hope. But through cunning plotting of his leader, the Decepticons achieved many victories. But the war had devastated their home world forcing the Autobots to leave in the Great Exile with the Decepticons giving pursuit.
Starscream always struggle with his loyalties with Megatron for he respected and hard to admit to even to himself, was in awe of him. But from either the long war, the many solars cycles spent as a gladiator, or the abuse of dark energon on his own systems, Megatron became erratic and unpredictable. He was always ruthless, but now there was madness mixed in as well which left Starscream to start scheming his way out. He tried to be loyal to the brutal warlord, but he can only be pushed so far before he snaps back. He would be a better leader and bring glory back to the Decepticons.
It was on Earth and battling the remaining few Autobots that he was demoted in rank. His favor with Megatron kept falling to the point he lost his position of Second In Command, though this partially his fault for wanting to usurp Megatron. This caused him to leave the Decepticons and became a Neutral. He tried to joined the Autobots at first, but that failed miserable due to his inability of to not boast. He struggled on his own for sometime, being a problem to both sides of the war while trying accomplish his own agenda. When he discovered that there was a possibility to revive Cybertron and he held all but one of the keys to be able to do that. But he was just one Mech and the Autobots made it quite clear that they couldn't be a viable option to help with his plan. He wanted the glory as well gaining his home back and he knew that at least with the Decepticons he can work that system to gain back his rank and get closer to restoring Cybertron to its former Golden Age with him going down history as helping accomplish that. So he return to the Decepticon forces using the Omega Keys as a peace offering, but this did not come without a price.
In order to return Megatron wanted Starscream to submit to psychic patch which allowed him to sift through the Seeker's memories. The Decepticon leader said that this was to find out Starscream's true motives, but what was revealed damning and thoroughly embarrassing. This was more just to cow the devious Seeker into line again by breaking him more mentally. It worked especially when given his old rank of Second-In-Command again. Starscream gleefully accepted it due in part he knew again where he stood...
The Decepticons tried to revive Cybertron but the Autobots got in their until Starscream's plan to use the Autobots' human friends as hostages. This worked and the Autobots backed off until Megatron instead of using the Omega lock to restore Cybertron first, wanted to use it to mechform Earth into New Kaon. The Decepticon leader didn't want to restore Cybertron, he wanted to crush Optimus Prime, leader of the Autobots. Optimus did what he had to and destroyed the Omega Lock...along with any hope of restoring Cybertron. Starscream survived the blast and swore vengeance on the Autobot leader. The Decepticons retaliated by attack the now discover Autobot base and destroyed. The Autobots escaped, but how many and who is still unknown to the Decepticons it was during one of the sweeps of the base's wreckage that Starscream was caught up in a Nevada sandstorm.
When he had awoke he was suddenly in a world he did not recognized and he was now human... What in the Allspark just happened?!
