[Ciel Phantomhive]
Age: 13
Gender: Male
Rank: Lost
Fandom: Black Butler/Kuroshitsuji (Manga)
Canon Pull Point: Right after the Curry Arc; he has recieved tickets to the Circus from the Queen but has not started investigating it yet. Pulled from right after chapter 22.
Appearance: He is definitely still a young boy in appearance, as he is only 13. He stands at 5 foot with a proud air about him that can sometimes cause it to seem like he has a few more inches than he really does. His hair is black so deep that it can appear navy, and it shows in the daylight with a blue shine to it. It is somewhat shaggy, with the overall length of it being right above the bottom of his ears. However he does have bangs that fall in front of his right eye in a jagged side bang look, and they cover his eyepatch and with it, the Faustian Contract mark that his demon butler Sebastian Michaelis gave to him.
His eyes are a deep blue, going almost as far as to say ocean blue. Well, only one of them is that deep blue color. The other one has taken on a violet hue with a pentagram sealed over the top. This pentagram is the Faustian Contract with Sebastian, and he normally keeps it covered with an eye patch to avoid bringing attention to himself for it. However, he can still see out of his eye, it's only a personal preference.
Another peculiar mark on him is a burn scar, much like a brand, on his lower back on the left of his body. This comes from his time spent as a slave in the occult, but that will come in later.
Over all the boy is lean in appearance, but he has obviously never worked a day in his life. Not hard work anyway. He is that scrawny kid with no muscle on him, not that he would listen to anyone who tried to tell him that.
Other than that, Ciel has two rings that he always wears no matter what he's doing. One is an ornate silver piece, which holds an emerald cut deep blue stone - thought to be part of the Hope Sapphire at one point - that is one of a kind. It was passed down through generations of the Phantomhives. The second ring is gold signet, bearing his family crest, which he used to press his seal into the sealing wax of letters.
Personality: Ciel is strict, to the point where he is very very unhappy if something is not done according to his plan. He's also stubborn, arrogant, and extraordinarily bright for a child of his age. He constantly schemes and plots things, usually having to do with gaining revenge on the people who tortured him for a month of his young life.
He most certainly is not a people person, and can be accurately described as anti-social. He will only interact with others - outside of his previous staff members - when he absolutely has too. Sebastian was the only one he would let stay near him all the time. Time may bring him to change, but it's not likely.
Like all children do, he has a penchant for games and challenges of any sort. However, he finds that most are too simple or easy for him. The game he particularly enjoys is chess, which he uses in reference to his life quite a few times. Ciel is also a fan of board games, particularly gruesome ones, and will not leave a game unfinished. Usually he is the winner of the game, and this leads him to be arrogant with the attitude of "none can beat me."
But in another childish streak, he also adores sweets and chocolates. He constantly pestered Sebastian to bring him more all the time, and he would do darn near anything to get them.
There are different sides to the Earl Phantomhive. When he is dealing with clients or business for the Queen, he is completely calm and often times cynical. He looks down on the Scotland Yard and all those he considers inferior to him. His scornful attitude has been known to break quite a few people.
Yet when the lights go out and it is only Sebastian - or someone he trusts - at his side he will sometimes let his walls down and reveal that he is still a child. He asks for Sebastian's opinions in that time, and constantly asks him to remain loyal to him at all times. Really he is insecure about what he is doing and puts up a front to keep himself from getting hurt. But it is possible for that wall to be broken down by someone he can grow to trust.
He is also fond of canines, and is allergic to felines.
History: Earl Ciel Phantomhive was born to Vincent and Rachel Phantomhive on December 14th, 1875. He was a happy child, and grew up playing with his cousins, Edward and Elizabeth Midford, until he was ten. Elizabeth (Lizzy) was destined to be his wife from the time Ciel was born, and they always knew that they were betrothed. However it is unknown if he ever loved his cousin in that way.
On Ciel's tenth birthday though his life took a sharp turn in the wrong direction. A fire erupted in the Phantomhive mansion and his parents were murdered and left to burn in the fire. Ciel though was taken away and placed into servitude. He was branded like an animal and tossed in a cage, and had countless bad things happen to him. These include and are not limited to; beatings, rape, starvation, and teasing. He was there for one month before they pulled him out onto an altar and planned to use him as a sacrifice.
In a last ditch effort, Ciel cried out for help and received it in the form of a demon seeking a contract. After accepting the contract and essentially selling his soul to the devil, Ciel names the demon Sebastian Michaelis and gives him one order. Kill them all. It is only afterwards that Ciel is taken out of captivity and brought back to the Phantomhive Manor that was in shambles. Sebastian rebuilt the manor to its former glory and moved his young master back in.
Shortly after that, Ciel allowed Sebastian to hire in some help in the form of Meyrin, Finnian, and Bardroy. Meyrin was his clumsy maid while glasses that in reality was a sharpshooter and a sniper. Finnian was the gardener, even though he had a black thumb rather than a green one, and was actually part of a lab experiment that had given him supernatural strength. Bardoy was the chef that was from America and had no talent for cooking. However he did have a penchant for making things exploding, including the kitchen... a lot. That had always driven Ciel insane.
He spent the next two years rebuilding the Phantomhive name and starting the Funtom Toy Company. He also took up the title of the "Queen's Watch Dog" and handled all of the dealings in the underworld. It was through that title he started going on his adventures. The first one was a drug bust that involved the Italian Mafia in England, and then came the Jack the Ripper case. It was during this case he met Grell Suttecliff, a grim reaper in disguise as a human butler, and learned that his dear Aunt "Madame Red" was murdering prostitutes that got abortions because she couldn't have children herself. Grell then killed his aunt for being weak and Ciel ordered Sebastian to kill the reaper. Sadly, he got away - with the help of his boss William T. Spears - and they were forced to return to the London home.
Ciel then celebrated his birthday with a visit from his Aunt Frances and his fiance, Lizzy. They played a hunting game that almost got Lizzy hurt when a bear came to investigate, but the girl was unharmed.
It is shortly after that when Ciel came into the acquaintance of Prince Soma and his butler Agni. The prince had come to England looking for his lost servant Meena in hopes to bring her back to the palace with him. Soma annoyed Ciel to no end, and the boy would do anything to get him out of there. So he had Sebastian help him track down Meena. It lead to Soma finding out that Agni had been lying to him about Meena the whole time in hopes to spare his master some heartache. It all built up to a competition dealing with Curry, and who could make the best curry and get the Royal Warrant.
It came as no surprise to Ciel that he won and took home the Royal Warrant, but it did shock him when the Queen visited personally to decide the winner. Upon her leaving she spirited him a letter that had tickets to a traveling circus. He disregarded the tickets for the time being and merely went home. He was tucked into bed by Sebastian and was quickly asleep.
However when he awoke he wasn't in England anymore.

Color: Green
Sex: Male
Appearance: A good comparison for Tsar is a blade. He is small, nearly runty for a green, but oh so sharp. His tail is long and whip-like, and he has little fat to his body. He is sharply angular, with long legs and wicked claws. He takes more after his father in appearance then his thick mother, a bizarre creature to behold among his more thick-bodied siblings. He seems almost ethereal, with his thin body and wings. He holds himself with a certain amount of reality that only adds to this aura, his head always held high.
His face is just as sharp. His bone structure is more delicate then he would probably like, with large eyes. His muzzle is long and delicate, ending in a sharp point that is unusual for firelizards. His fangs are long and visible even when his mouth is closed. His head is dainty and small. He's actually a quite handsome creature, in his own, chilling way. Tsar seems ready to pounce at the slightest show of weakness.
Personality: Tsar is, above all else, a guardian. He is not a selfish creature in the way of some others, guarding someone in exchange for protection or love, but instead demands nothing other then that his duty not be challenged. He wishes only to protect Ciel from anything that may try to hurt him, and he is determined that nothing will stop him from doing this. He may be small, but he's also a flying, teleporting, potentially fire breathing animal the size of a cat with claws and fangs. He's pretty sure he could do some damage if he really tried. He will also guard other, smaller things. He has a bit of a hoarding habit, snagging small things and hiding them in his nest.
He isn't a particularly intelligent firelizard, unfortunately. He often requires Ciel to explain things to him, and this is something that shames him as much as a firelizard can be shamed. He does his best to be a Smart Flit, but he just can't do it. He picks up on training easily enough, because of his extreme willingness to please, but his memory isn't great and he can be confused easily. What he lacks in intelligence, Tsar makes up for in pure determination. He will figure it out. He will throw himself at a problem over and over, until he figures something out or dies trying. He is not discouraged easily, not even by his master. Tsar is a deeply reflective firelizard, one who spends a great deal of time thinking in order to help with his endeavors of puzzling out the world around him. He needs to, since he isn't very smart.
In public, Tsar is all about duty. He has a job to do, and he takes it very seriously. He very rarely lets Ciel out of his sight, even if it means that he must hide away or do something equally degrading to follow his master around. He is awkward when confronted with other firelizards, to the point of even fleeing from particularly gregarious examples of his species. He is more relaxed around his clutch mates, but even they can be too much for him at times. The truth is, he's actually a bit shy. Without Ciel to bolster his confidence, he is easily intimidated by larger firelizards and bullied out of treats and toys. This is yet another reason he tries to keep Ciel around him at all times.
Ciel is very important to Tsar, and the firelizard's bond to him is very strong. Tsar would die for him without a second thought, and doesn't require shows of affection from him to be happy. All he needs is to be around Ciel, and to know that Ciel is happy. But if Ciel doesn't show affection to Tsar, the green will probably wither quickly. He needs Ciel's affection to be confident, especially since he is easily bullied by other firelizards. Tsar adores Ciel, and Ciel's opinion of Tsar will be reflected in the greens own confidence.
