Alistair was very, very confused. Okay, well, more confused than he usually was, which meant he was especially confused about absolutely everything he was encountering in this place. Really, this wasn't what being dead was supposed to be like at all! No one knew where he could find Ferelden or even -anywhere- he had ever heard of, and no one knew what Darkspawn were, and that wasn't even the worst! The worst was that know one even knew who the Maker was!
No one, in the afterlife, who knew the creator of everything was! Now, maybe Alistair had gotten things wrong, but wasn't everyone supposed to -worship- the Maker, in, you know, his kingdom? That seemed, you know, logical! He knew that he wasn't the smartest (or that was what Morrigan insisted, at least), but didn't that make sense? He thought it did, and the whole business of no one knowing what he was talking about didn't sit right.
This place was fishy, and- the man froze at the fact there was a dragon's voice in his head ahhhh, not really used to this stuff. Why would he be? That was the fishiest thing, really! Forget the gray not-qunari, and the fact no one knew about anything; there were dragons here. Dragons! And they were everywhere, and people loved them! Had he been sent back in time? Were these people the Tevinter? No, they didn't seem to, you know, be made of evil and have slaves everywhere, so he doubted that. Still, it was all bad news he most certainly needed to stay away from!
Oh, wait, eggs? Eggs, and hatching? What were Firelizards? Now that sounded exciting! Wait, no, stop. That was a very bad idea, because they were probably nasty giant things with a million spindly legs that preyed on the unsuspecting and were like rats and just ate cheese and that sounded terrible. Really terrible, and he was changing his direction to the kitchen for totally unrelated reasons! Totally.
...It was the Warden's fault, he decided as he tried to find his way to the kitchen. Once upon a time, he had been smart and intelligent and didn't walk in to danger. Oh, but no, he followed around a charismatic, amazing, bestest friendest ever person, and now he was charging in to dangerous situations.
Okay, not -charging-, but that was mostly because he was completely and utterly and totally lost. That was why Alistair was so very, very late to this hatching thing, slowly approaching the circle of people before waving slightly. "A bit late, aren't I?" The man muttered to himself as he peered at the mini-dragons, wondering why exactly these things weren't getting shrieked at and thrown out. That was sort of the procedure with dragon babies! ...These -were- dragon babies, right? Well, he had to stay, if that was true. Who knew what dragon babies did? He knew! They ate everything and killed people, that was what they did.

Diedro grinned as Alistair entered, waving her free hand towards him. "Welcome to the hatching! Take a strip of meat, and feed a hatchling if it wanders over to you or if I hand it to you. If you don't, they die!" What a cheerful thing to say to a poor, confused templar. "Oh, don't worry about being late. Plenty of hatchlings to go around!" She said, as cheerful as ever. The wherhandler turned her attention back to the clutch, trying yet again to grab the wily Tree Blooded bronze. Yet again, he leaped over her hand and to safety.
"Little bastard..." She mumbled under her breath. The Tree Blooded bronze snorted and flitted his wings open, taking refuge on top of a shelf. He would come down when he was good and ready! He was hungry, of course, but the gnawing in his stomach had yet to become real pain and he was a patient firelizard. He could wait. "Fine then. Starve up there, you little ingrate.
Oblivious to the troubles with its clutch-sibling, the Grain of Sand egg had begun to rock. The shell was being carefully chipped away by the hatchling inside, which was content to make a much more graceful entrance into the world then its older siblings. The Ocean Treasure green slipped free of her egg with a flick of her wings, stumbling before gaining her footing. She looked around at the people, tilting her head to one side and trilling up at them.
Well, wasn't this a ragged bunch? Did she really have to Impress to them? The firelizard looked to her mother, cheeping up to the older bronze. Sparkle merely crooned back, oblivious to the cause of her daughters discomfort. Diedro scooped up the little green, looking yet again for a potential owner.
"Heads up, new guy." She said, handing the firelizard to Alistair. "Take good care of her, okay? Make sure you feed her!" The firelizard definitely didn't want to stay in Alistair's hands, however. She was far too delicate to be manhandled like this! The little green wiggled fiercely, squirming out of his hands and onto his arm.
With a condescending sniff and a contemptuous flick of her tail directed at that savage, Diedro, she marched right up Alistair's arm and took her rightful place on her throne his shoulder. The green scolded him quietly for letting Diedro grab her, before setting to grooming her wings. Honestly. Who just grabbed someone? So rude.

Ciel listened closely as Haelyn went through and explained everything what Impression was and how that's what was going on here. Except with mini dragons... and the thing in the corner was a Wher? Well, that would explain why it looked so different. He noticed with mild amusement that he was ignored by the wher while the person that walked in behind him was growled at. He assumed it was because he was a child and deemed harmless. A faint smirk twisted his lips before his attention was snagged by the hatching of another firelizard. The green coloration of the hide was catching to the eye, and he watched as the woman running the hatching - apparently - passed off the hatchling to the man that had come in behind him.
He noticed then that he had missed another impression, this one was a brown that had been passed off to another man he didn't know. He weaved through the people at that moment and made to stand by Applejack and Carlton, he at least somewhat knew them. His attention was taken by the other firelizard that had bit at Diedro, and he furrowed his brow slightly as he noticed him sitting to the side. It didn't seem like this hatchling was in a big rush to impress or eat anything.
He chuckled slightly, let the baby do what he please. He was certainly entertaining to watch.

Tree Blooded was starting to get really hungry. Hungry enough that he was starting to really, really hurt. It was strange, how the change had come mere minutes after he had decided he could wait. The little bronze cheeped in discomfort, flapping his wings and squirming on the shelf. Oh, he didn't like this at all. But he didn't want to get grabbed by the humans. He had so many things to learn! His siblings were stupid for getting grabbed. They would never learn anything that way. His brown brother in particular.
As the little bronze anguished over what to do, the Evil Eye egg began to rock. A pale leg pushed itself free, followed by another. The hatchlings head followed, until the entire firelizard rolled free. A pale little blue flopped against its fellow eggs, cheeping in complaint. The Vanished Luck blue creeled miserably, shaking his head.
The little bronze, surprised by the arrival and subsequent screaming of his brother, hopped off of the shelf. Okay, fine! He was going to go find one of those humans to feed him and make his brother shut up with that stupid screaming. Making his decision quickly, the little bronze landed on Applejack's shoulder and quickly made himself comfortable.
He grumbled in her ear for good measure, though. Just so that she would know that the stubborn little bronze was just there for the food. Ignore the rainbow eyes, lady. Definitely not Impressing to you. Oh, shard it. He totally was. He sneaked an affectionate lick to Applejack's ear in between grumbles.

With the basics of Impression covered, Haelyn felt herself relax, if just a bit. The hatchlings would be in good hands, or so she hoped. But out of the group that had collected for the hatching – if not irony’s sake – she knew most of them. They gave her no reason to doubt their ability to care for a hatchling. She glanced at Diedro, smiling and nodding, but listening as well. Both firelizards and whers she knew very little of, though if there was the moment to learn something about them, she’d be eager to listen. Maybe at some other point, Haelyn could talk to her more about both subjects. But for now, settled the thought back to turn towards the present.
She'd apparently been more lost in her thoughts than she had first imagined, gaze flickering between the newly hatched assortment, to those who Impressed. Another green, a brown, and a bronze had Impressed, as a very light blue had hatched and she felt an ounce of worry for the small thing. He had seemed so unhappy and miserable, it worried her that he might have injured himself coming out of the shell...

The dragonrider that had picked them up in the desert spoke again, and Carlton listened, fully attentive. It seemed like... magic, really. Silly. Unreal. But the little lady on his shoulder was hungry, and he knew that in a way that was certain and absolute and so unlike anything he'd ever experienced before.
Carlton looked around and was surprised to see more of them had hatched. He had been so caught up in his own personal things that he hadn't even been paying attention to the rest of the room. He offered a slight smile as the woman handed off the brown creature to... someone who looked surprisingly normal. Someone whose eyes had been on his shoulder until he'd been given one of his own. Carlton lifted his shoulder, bringing her closer, eyes narrowing at the stranger who had been looking.
"So you don't have a name?" He brushed his hand up across, petting the goopy gal who pushed her head into his palm. "And you're hungry." And more importantly, he thought, she was his.
"Thank you," he said, nodding both towards Haelyn and the person who seemed to be bonded to the wher and the mama firelizard. He edged over towards the bowl, nabbing a few extra scraps of meat before retreating back towards Ciel and Applejack.
The latter of which now had the shiny bronze creature clambering on her. Carlton offered her a smile before turning his attention to his little girl. He pulled another piece of meat up to his shoulder, smile widening slightly as she gobbed it down. And the next.
"That's it," he murmured, grinning. Her tail unfurled, curling around the back of his neck, leaving a trail of sticky as she anchored herself to him. She crooned merrily as he reached up again to pet her, not caring about the gross of the goop.
Carlton suddenly smiled. He knew her name. Knew what it had to be, and, he thought, it suited her nicely. "Sonora." She peeked up at him, eyes whirring before her tongue peeked out and swiped over his skin.
Sonora. She liked that.

The Vanished Luck blue whimpered, backing himself into the eggs. When Diedro reached for him, he let out an ear-splitting screech that made the wherhandler jolt back and Diesk let out a yelp. "Ouch! Okay, okay. You can sit there for a few seconds." She frowned, peering down at him. "He's not hurt. I think he's just scared. Sometimes they hatch out like that. This is pretty stressful, I guess. You just sit there, little guy, and I'll get you matched up when you calm down." He wasn't in danger of starving to death just yet, so she could focus on the others.
As the little blue fretted, the Soul Mirror decided to make its entrance into the world. The green inside practically exploded from the egg, revealing a hatchling that looked quite strange. The thin green hissed at the humans (and pony and angel), coiling up and regarding them with red eyes. Child Guardian had arrived, and he was not happy.
"Yeesh. You're a nasty one, aren't you?" Diedro asked, looking down at the furious little firelizard. She reached for him, gathering the green in her hands. He bit her for her gesture, sinking needle teeth in her thumb before fleeing into the air. The green wobbled uncertainly, before circling around.
He didn't even look at anyone else, instead making a beeline straight to Ciel with a loud screech. The green practically thudded against the boys shoulder, digging his claws into his shirt and hauling himself up. He curled up on his shoulder, chattering wildly and anxiously to himself.
This was awful. So, so awful.
Diedro frowned, shaking her hand. "Why do I keep getting bitten?" She asked mournfully. "Okay, fine. Have the boy, you terrible little monster. I was going to hand you to him anyway." She wiped her thumb on her shirt, hissing. "Ouch. He's got sharp teeth. It is a he, right?"
Diesk snorted. "Don't you laugh at me. I hope one bites you next."

Castiel noticed the green as he growled at some of the new entries. He was also effects of weariness- he was still getting used to sleep. So, in an effort to use less energy, he sat cross-legged on the ground to watch the proceedings. He watched as each fire lizard entered the world. Fascinating, lovely creatures they were. Each had their own personality and approach to the situation, and Castiel enjoyed that very much.
Then the pale blue creature fumbled out of its shell, crying piteously. Castiel felt incredible sorrow and pity towards it, an insatiable urge to help it and make it understand that it was safe. However, seeing how it reacted to the woman with the Wher, he decided to stay where he was and worry silently. He was shocked and alarmed when the odd, slightly ferocious green one crashed out its shell and flew almost directly to the child. Seeing it take hold to a perch, he returned his attentions to the piteous blue lizard and remaining eggs.

The King Killer egg had been biding its time, waiting for the perfect moment to hatch and make itself known to the world. What better time then now? With a hiss, the hatchling inside pushed free and burst forth from its shell. The None Greater green snarled, stumbling and shaking egg goop off of him. He didn't seem to realize how tiny he was, convinced that he was a huge monster that could eat all of the people gathered.
Or, well, he could at least eat Vanished Luck... the None Greater green turned his attention to the blue, approaching the other firelizard. Despite the fact blues were usually larger then greens, None Greater easily outweighed his smaller brother. Vanished Luck was bizarrely small, a runt of a blue that was built delicately to boot.
So it was pretty back when the green lunged at him and bit down on his wing. The two firelizards rolled in the basket, kicking up an unholy fuss and screaming. Where before, Vanished Luck had been screaming and cowardly, the blue was now fighting with a shocking ferocity. Diedro let out a cry of alarm, reaching into the basket to try and separate the fighting firelizards without crushing the eggs.
"No reason to be alarmed! Just a fight! Happens every clutch- Ow! Don't bite me, you little sharder!" She said to the None Greater firelizard as he got her hand in a death grip, wrapping his tail around her wrist and digging his claws into her hand. The Vanished Luck blue, instead of sticking around, vaulted over her shoulder and, with one last hiss at his brother, headed towards an available human.
That human happened to be Haelyn. With an irritable chitter, he landed on her shoulder and began to chatter wildly, licking a cut on his shoulder. None of his cuts were deep enough to demand urgent medical attention, thankfully. The little blue seemed more upset that his dramatic cowering had been ruined by his aggressive brother then anything else.
Diesk stood up to peer at the basket, just in time to get a face full of firelizard as the green succesfully escaped Diedro in favor of flying around the room. None Greater hissed, clambering up Diesk's face and launching himself onto another counter behind Castiel. He skidded behind a collection of pots, disappearing from sight.
"... That could have gone better." Diedro groaned, covering her face with her hands. "Could someone wave some meat around? Maybe he'll come back. He's probably just, uh, scared. Or. Something." She was quiet for a moment. "If we leave him in the kitchen, the headwoman is going to kill me."

To say that the next hatching took him by surprise would be an understatement. The almost violent hatching caused his eyes to be drawn to it almost immediately. The deep green hide and swirling red eyes alerted him to the birth of the firelizard, and he could only guess that the red color was a sign that he was unhappy. That was made even clearer when the green bit Diedro after she reached for him.
It was then that the weight of the green firelizard hitting his shoulder sent him off balance. He stumbled backwards, feeling the sharp claws through his shirt and then as he crawled onto his shoulder. His eyes widened in shock, just barely getting his balance back before whipping his head around to stare at the creature making his home on his shoulder. And chittering his ear off.
As such, he was startled when he could suddenly feel the mind of the firelizard so clearly inside of his. He could feel worry, and hunger, and a dislike of being around so many others of his kind. He blinked himself back into the real world, startled at the turn of events. Well, that had certainly thrown him off. He caught Diedro's question and looked over at the woman, surprised that she was talking to him for a moment before he realized it made sense. Having another mind inside of his was really throwing him off for the moment.
"Yes, he's a boy," he answered simply, reaching up with one hand and running a fingertip along the head and back of the curled up firelizard. He couldn't stop the instant smile when the green arched into his touch and the worry faded from his mind a bit only to be replaced with a more vicious hunger. The aching need for food through the young boy for an even greater loop, but he did remember Diedro mentioning that they needed to be fed. So he reached out a hand and grabbed a piece of meat that he had neglected grabbing earlier, offering it to the green. Almost instantly the hatchling chittered and reached out to bite off a piece of it and tried to swallow it whole.
It took the flitter a few tries to get it, but he did eventually get it down and he chirped at Ciel with lazily swirling eyes, alerting the child to the fact he was - in fact - much hungrier. Ciel chuckled in mild amusement before tearing off a smaller piece this time and offering it to the small creature that pretty much depended on him for the time being. He watched as this piece was much easier for him to eat and he nodded his head in approval, tearing the meat apart for the firelizard to eat before tilting his head to watch what else was happening around them.
He felt the firelizard bristle at the appearance of the other green firelizard and reached up a soothing hand, even though he was taken aback by how volatile this green seemed compared to the one sitting on his shoulder... that still needed a name actually. Looking out of the corner of his eye, he regarded the miniature dragon sitting on his shoulder and suddenly knew the perfect name for him. "I'll call you Tsar," he said, amusement flickering in his eyes as the green turned his head to look at him. "You're never going to leave me alone now are you?" he asked.
A chirp answered his question, giving a very definite no. And somehow he didn't mind that so much.

With a nod, Haelyn allowed herself to settle back and attempt to not worry over the little blue, especially once it started to screech once Diedro attempted to help it. Hopefully it would settle down enough to make an Impression before something unwanted were to happen. Her gaze shifted to the next to hatch, another green, and watched the rather aggressive display at the crowd gathered before it. She winced as it bit the wherhandler. Sharp little teeth for newborns, right. It still had to hurt, though. At least it chose to Impress – to Ciel, she noted – and that action seemed to drain some of his aggression.
The next to hatch – another green, a tiny little one, yet the posture it held told that size meant nothing to the small firelizard. It turned towards the blue, and Haelyn’s apprehension rose until it had leapt at the blue and the pair had been sent scrambling. However, what she hadn’t accounted for was the sudden flare of aggression the tiny blue showed once it had been assaulted. She almost leapt to help separate the two, but had to hold herself back. She knew very little of these matters, it was best to leave it towards ones who knew what they were doing, like Diedro.
Relief washed over her once they were separated, but that didn’t last long as the little blue suddenly dove – straight for her.
Her hand rose immediately to her shoulder once he landed, though if it was to steady him, or reassure him, she wasn’t very sure. His chatter was sharp in her ear as he licked the wound on his shoulder with the greatest of care. She peered at it around his wing – it was a small cut; superficial, it seemed like, no reason to worry. But the moment she felt herself relax, the blue must have felt it as well, turning and giving her a low, quavering chirrup. Demeanor aside, there was no mistaking the rainbows in his tiny facets she hadn’t seen directed towards her in turns, nor the newly awakened hunger she was starting to feel.
She was his, as he was hers.
“Easy there. You hungry?” Obvious question, but it gained her a hurried chirp in response. She held up her other hand, one containing the meat strip, and laughing quietly to herself as he swallowed it down quickly. “You have teeth, you know. You could try using them.” The firelizard stared at her for a moment, before letting out a wail, wings shaking themselves out, fanning the air before he changed his tune, mewing and nudging her jaw. A smile kept flitting to her face as she claimed a few more strips of meat, ripping them in half before presenting them to the dramatic little blue. He chirred, diving into her palm with the eagerness as if Haelyn had actually been holding out on him. At least, by the third piece, he actually began to chew.
“Now, you just need a name…” And that was the hard part, wasn’t it? At least, at this point. He’d already showed so much personality in these past few moments, she could debate on what, exactly, to base his name on. In the back of her mind, she felt the sleepy warmth of Riklith, making her smile at the wordless love and acceptance she felt from the dragon.
His coloring made her think to a trip she’d taken once with Riklith after they’d graduated Weyrlinghood to the colder plains of the northern regions of the continent. Snow and ice had been plentiful the further they had traveled; it was a cold memory, and she remembers practically throwing herself into the sun once they returned. But it was a happy memory, one she still cherished. The ice that had stuck to them, moments after bursting through from Between—what had that been called again? Oh, yes…
“Rime.” The little firelizard’s head popped up from the inspection of her tunic collar. He settled back, considering it for a long moment, before trilling at her. Seemed like they had a winner, at least. She’d been worried, with how finicky he’d been exhibiting, that she would end up going through a list of names before responding to one.

None Greater was obviously not intending on returning to the fray anytime soon. Clanging and growling could be heard from where he had disappeared to, as the hatchling hid further in his fortress of pots and pans. Someone could probably just reach in and grab him, but they'd risk being bitten and scratched by the foul tempered hatchling. Diedro watched the spot with no small amount of misery, rubbing the back of her head. "Well, that's no good." She looked at her bitten up hand, sighing. "I guess i'm making a stop at the infirmary after this."
Diesk growled, sitting down and pawing at the scratches on his face. He was going to get back at that nasty little green, he just knew it. His ego was definitely hurting from the surprise attack, having been taken by surprise by such a small creature. Humiliating.
As None Greater caused drama, the Guardian Amulet egg decided that now was the time to hatch. A purple-blue foot shot through the shell, sending flakes of shell raining down on those eggs that remained unhatched. The rest of the blue followed, revealing a rather brutish looking blue. The Sober Healer blue looked around, cheeping gently.
Diedro smiled down at the blue, reaching with her uninjured hand to scoop her up. The blue didn't resist, perching on her hand and craning her neck to get a better look at the people in the room. "Freep?" She asked, looking up at Diedro.
"Yep. One of these people is just for you. But who? I thiiink..." She beamed at Castiel, handing the firelizard over to him. "Here you go! Be quick to feed her, now. Don't want her wandering off like that green did." She glanced towards the pots again, frowning fiercely.
Sober Healer blinked up at Castiel, tilting her head to one side. He seemed a bit strange to her, but nice. So he would do. She curled up against him, crooning happily. Yay! She found her person. About time, too. She was hungry!

"Was it turn right at the tapestry or left?"
Lucy stared hard at the tapestry, as if it held some clue to the location of the library. The tapestry dragons stared back, wordless. Alright, maybe she should have paid more attention to the weyrperson's instructions or wrote it down, but it had seemed so simple at the time, and she was not lost. She knew exactly where was.
Lucy peered down the right corridor. One of the odd lamps—she'd heard someone call it a glow—died. She went left.
The hallway opened up the farther she went down it. It grew warmer, and brighter, and the familiar scent of roasting meats, baking bread, and cinnamon wafted toward her. "It was right, then," she sighed, turning around to head back. Her stomach growled. She looked back at the kitchen. Maybe the head chef would take pity on her? Lucy stole into the kitchen.
A group of people stood clustered by one of the fireplaces. Were they serving dinner already? She pushed her way through the crowd. There, in a basket, were a bunch of eggs and eggshells. A quick glance and she caught sight of what looked like baby dragons in various states of being fed. Hadn't there been some kind of broadcast about a hatching of firelizards?
They were kind of cute. Could she entice one over toward her? Lucy grabbed a strip of meat from the bowl.

"They what!?" Alarmed didn't even begin to explain the Grey Warden's shock, because what!? They -died- if they didn't get food from someone? That was awful, even if they were little mini-dragon terrible things. He didn't want that to happen at all; that'd be horrible, and so he took one of the strips of meat. Not that he really wanted one of these things, but he couldn't LET BABIES DIE. That'd be the worst.
Well, one of the worst things.
"Oh, wait, what? Er, are you- oh. you are talking to me, I suppose that's why you're handing me this." Alistair stared at the little creature that was now in his hands, watching her decide that this wasn't alright and that she simple had to sit somewhere else. "This...is a bit unexpected." Did these things always take on, er, owners? That was a bit odd, considering they were minature versions of things that could become horrible, corrupted monsters.
"If you can't beat them, join them, I suppose. I'm certain they meant adopting a tiny little green not-dragon while you're lost in the afterlife when they said that." The man reached up to his shoulder to scratch the head of the firelizard and offer her some of the meat. It -she, he was suddenly very sure that the thing was a she- chirped softly before scarfing up the food up and going back to grooming like the imperious little thing she was. "You spend more time cleaning than me, ..er. You don't have a name, do you?"
"Hhr..." Was this like a Mabari and he had to be super careful because it was really, really smart? Like a tiny, shiny little Mabari who would probably be useless in a fight? "You could probably be eaten by a Mabari, honestly." An unhappy little chirp, because what a rude thing for Alistair to say. "You're better than a Mabari, of course. No offense meant. Penelope. There. That's your name." What a good name that had absolutely no heartfelt meaning. At least she seemed to like it, crooning and strutting on his shoulder as much as her little baby feet could manage.

Son of a-
This whole in-your-head-talking was going to be hard to get used to. Heck, there was a whole lot of things to get used to. People and dragons- dragons not being evil- so far. These ones didn’t seem to be interested in virgins, so that’s a good sign. And now they were, what- hatching in the kitchen? Firelizards. A clutch of them. Baby firelizards.
Dean rubbed his temples. He had been standing near one of the entrances to the apartments when he heard it, clear as day. And if he remembered right, the kitchen wasn’t that far away. He was curious, and, the kitchen sounded like a good place to be right now, especially since he was feeling kind of snackish- as long as the hatchlings weren’t rampant and destructive- which he was sure they weren’t, or there’d be people running out and about screaming. It wasn't like the message was about trouble.
This just felt weird. All that build-up with the Leviathans, and now he was in some kind of fantasy world- and not the kind of fantasy Dean would have preferred. He had settled for now, but not so much for staying around indefinitely. There had to be a way back. He’d been to the past, the future, heaven and hell, and had always found a way home.
For now, he found the kitchen.
When he entered, there were the others he’d met from before already there - some like him, pulled out from his world - their world? Man, this was confusing - and others native to this land. Most of them had some kind of reptilian creature perched on them, others without had eyes to some kind of nest. Nest being a huddle of eggs, though most seemed broken by now. There was a surprising number of people in the kitchen, and he noticed that Lucy was just standing ahead of him. “What did I miss-”
There was a quick green flash interrupting him mid-speech, leaping at a young boy. He reached a hand to his side, instinctively for a gun that wasn’t there. But no one was panicking- no one was getting facehugged- and the boy was fine. He watched as another pale blue firelizard cosy up to a female, and eased a little.
Lucy herself was pretty engrossed, so she hadn’t heard him. He looked around, seeing who else he would have met from before. Someone who could explain what was happening. Where was Nocta...?
